MANIFESTO

CREATIVITY IS THE KEY FOR CHANGE

Art has proven to be a powerful tool for social change. On the other hand, the school’s characteristic trait is to suppress creativity in students, which makes using this medium even more meaningful.

ONLY A DIVERSE COMMUNITY CAN SHAPE THE FUTURE OF EDUCATION

The current school system was designed by a bunch of privileged individuals. No wonder why it doesn’t fit most of us! Tomorrow’s school must be built by a large group of people from all backgrounds.

EMPOWERING INDIVIDUALS

Contributing to this movement is also about reclaiming the right to express ourselves through art and breaking free from limiting beliefs taught at school. Your voice matters!

TOMORROW’S SCHOOL IS ONLY THE FIRST STEP

Before building a new education system, we need a vision. Art will bring it to life.

Next? Changing the system, of course. How? We'll discover it on the way. What's for sure is that without dreaming about it, we won't go anywhere.

SUPPORT FOR CREATION

SUPPORT FOR CREATION

HOW TO FIND MY IDEA?

- Think of your experience at school: What made you upset? What did you love?

- Think of your life's experience: What do you wish you learned before? What are the things school taught you, you had to unlearn?

Some ideas to get inspiration from:

- What will students study?

- How will students study?

- What will students eat?

- At what time school will start in the morning?

- Could it be that, in tomorrow's school, there's a chill room to have a nap?

- Could it be that students will have yoga classes at school?

- Would kids spend more time in nature?

- Will students have more autonomy to create their own education?

- What will the classroom of the future look like?

- What are the skills teachers will need in tomorrow's school?

- What will students learn?

- What will be the place of creativity at school?

WHAT ART MEDIUM SHOULD I USE?

You could use anything. But here are a few ideas:

Digital art; Painting; Land Art; Video; Dance; Poetry; Slam; Drawing; Writing a myth; Photography; Model; Performance; Theater; Sculpture; Music; AI generated art...

It can be figurative or abstract!

I DON'T KNOW HOW TO CREATE. I DON'T KNOW WHERE TO START. I NEVER DID IT BEFORE.

First, no shame: you are part of a majority of people! Most of us are the victims of a school system that didn't give us the opportunity to train our creativity, or worse, which punished it.

I am giving monthly online workshops on creativity & the future of education.

QUESTIONS

Illustration-lune-lpp-2 copy.jpg

How much time should I invest in my creation?

Illustration-lune-lpp-2 copy.jpg

There are no rules and no expectations. You could be good-to-go in half an hour or need a few weeks. Each creative process is unique! Just a recommendation: don't overthink it too much.

I have 0 technical art skills. Is it an issue?

Not at all! The goal is not to create beautiful art, but a meaningful one. Look at the Art Brut movement, which Tomorrow's School is very inspired by. People with no technical skills but a lot to say.

Is there a deadline for submitting my artwork?

There are no deadlines. But I recommend putting one to yourself! It will help you focus. +, the world & I are impatient for you to share your vision of tomorrow's school!

Where will my artwork be shown?

It will be published on this website and on my Instagram: @zeldapoem
